DNA is a remarkable molecule capable of imparting information and function(s) through multiple mechanisms. In this lecture, Prof. Sir Shankar Balasubramanian FRS, will cover his experiences of aspects of the primary structure (genetics), natural covalent chemistry (epigenetics) and secondary structure (epigenetics?) of DNA with an emphasis on methodologies to retrieve information.
