University of Michigan duet multiomic solution evoC (6-base) workshop – Co-Sponsored by Illumina

Reveal the power of the 6-base genome: introducing duet multiomics solution evoC
10 September 2024
to 13 September 2024
University of Michigan

About the event

Distinguish 5-methylcytosine (5mC) and 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) together with all 4 canonical bases to measure multiple modes of biology from a single low-input DNA sample in a single experiment.

The 6-base genome enables multidimensional DNA methylation analysis for biomarker discovery to gain transformative insights into current and future states of disease.

This is a closed workshop. If you are interested in learning about the technology that provides simultaneous genome and epigenome data, you may sign up to attend the informational session on Day 2, Wednesday, September 11th at 3:00pm

Please register below; you must fill out the additional survey.

Workshop size is limited to 10 participants.

  • Informational Session 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM biomodal & Illumina presentations- Medical Science 2 room 3733
  • Sweets and coffee will provided during the informational session

For those that are submitting workshop requests, the following sample requirements should be considered;

  • gDNA: mechanically fragmented to 250 bp
  • FFPE DNA samples: please note that in the details about your research project
  • cfDNA: no fragmentation required
  • Perform BioA or TapeStation traces on post-shear samples
  • Qubit quantification post-shear samples
  • Dilute 5 – 20 ng (cfDNA) or 10 – 80 ng (gDNA) in 24 uL low TE
    • This is the minimum. Results may vary.
  • Store DNA at -20C until Day 2
